Why do I need a life coach?
Feeling stuck? In a rut? Life coaching helps you identify and change those areas of your life which you find unfulfilling or unsatisfactory. Sometimes, people are simply interested in changing their circumstances and improving their outcomes. They feel strong enough to start making changes, and begin “climbing the mountain” that leads them to greater success. The work involves designing their new life, and figuring out how to make their dreams a reality. Some just want to improve their current circumstances and create success. If you’re truly ready for coaching you probably don’t need as much insight, emotional support, or healing. You just need to get clarity, make a plan, and take action. If you’re here, coaching will be much more useful to you than therapy, because it will help you get results. A good coach will help you get clarity about what your “mountain” looks like, and all the actual day-by-day steps you need to take to get to the top. Then they’ll support and encourage you as you walk up it.
The life coach’s job is not to directly advise you. He or she will help you explore the balance of your life in several major areas, identify where you might wish to make changes, set desirable, realistic and achievable goals in these areas, and then assist in and encourage the change process.
How long sessions last?
Sessions are usually one hour in length and a complete package is intended to run over a 90 day (3 month) period.
Where are sessions held?
Sessions can either be held by phone, by video (I prefer to use Zoom) or in-person for those that can easily be accessed within a reasonable geographical area from our New Westminster office.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, we accept credit cards, bank transfers and cash payments.

Strategic Intervention Coaching is a dynamic type of life coaching which is used worldwide to help individuals, families, couples, and organizations to support the individual and group. Strategic Intervention Coaching brings a system of change that empowers the client to take action daily in their life. It is through real actions, taught as SI Strategies by their coach, that a client creates the real and lasting change they desire. Strategic Intervention believes that all people have the potential to overcome the negative patterns and beliefs which keep them from thriving and reaching their goals.
How is Strategic Intervention Coaching different from therapy?
Psychotherapy and counseling generally work within a medical framework: identifying and diagnosing dysfunctions and prescribing treatment. SI Coaching starts with you, now, and how to take practical steps to make progress towards the goals, relationships, and experience you want. Strategic Intervention begins with the belief that the solutions that the client wants are available to them right now, and greater well-being and happiness comes from the ability to take smart actions in life.
